Councillor Candidate
Pearce Branigan

Pearce Branigan

Conservative candidate for Brownswood

Conservative

Every stage of my life has been impacted by London. I am a Londoner by birth, being born at Whipps Cross Hospital in Walthamstow. I studied my undergraduate degree in History at Queen Mary, University of London. I currently live with my partner in Stoke Newington. I have worked in Parliament as part of an MP's office and have seen how political representatives can affect positive change and results for residents and our communities. I work as a community engagement specialist for projects in both the private and public sectors. My focus is to ensure that credible engagement with any communities are undertaken - something that has been lacking from our Labour-run councils in Hackney, Islington and Waltham Forest. For too long policy makers have ignored the wishes of their residents, disregarding the results of public consultations and denying democracy. As your representative on the GLA for North East London, I would have residents hold me to my pledges and ensure that they were properly consulted on any policies impacting their lives and wellbeing, that the results were abided by and that promised outcomes were always delivered.
