In Jo's own words

A bit about me, I’m a firm believer in community. As your Green Party candidate and if elected, I’m here to listen to your concerns and issues and use my skills and determination to do my utmost on your behalf to create solutions. This will be working with all the different people, organisations and charities in Chirton and Percy Main to lever positive changes. My day job is to build new affordable housing, I was homeless at 17 and have carved my own path through education and employment.

I live in Chirton and work in North Tyneside. I stand for the NHS, affordable warm and secure housing, job creation, investing in young people, access to libraries, creating and sustaining green spaces to enjoy, sustainable roots out of poverty and investing in new local business. I’m not interested in throwing mud at other candidates and parties. I’m standing to be your candidate to represent this ward and local people on a positive and forward thinking platform.

However you vote in May, please check out what the different parties are standing for. Any questions, or thoughts im keen to hear them.
