In Pedro's own words

Pedro Xavier is a trilingual language specialist that works closely with the emigrant community in Lambeth.

He was awarded a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Teaching English as a Foreign Language with English Language & British Culture and Communication Studies.

Apart from the work that he now privately does as CEO of PLS Consultants International where he deals with a myriad of problems mostly relating to the language barrier, and runs an accountancy practice.

He worked as an Executive Officer at the DWP, teacher at both the University of Middlesex and Saint Francis Xavier Sixth Form College in London, a Local Education Authority Governor for Bishop Thomas Grant Secondary School and even an external consultant for the Portuguese Consulate in the United Kingdom.

He is also a Portuguese Councillor for the Portuguese communities in the UK, and advisory body to the Portuguese Government

In 2015 Pedro was nominated for the award of “Empreendorismo Inovador na Diáspora Portuguesa” that was given by the Portuguese President, where he was awarded the “Diploma de Mérito”.

He has spent thousands of hours translating and interpreting English, Portuguese and Spanish assisting the minorities within the Borough of Lambeth and has worked with many solicitor firms, both national and foreign, in dealing with a range of issues that arise in the community.

Whenever Pedro is not working at PLS Consultants or patrolling the streets as a Special Constabulary Sergeant at Metropolitan Police he is home spending time with his family and their two dogs
