In Tanya's own words

Hi, I'm Tanya and I'm standing to be elected as your Green Party councillor for Peartree on Thursday 7th May.

As a Peartree resident, I put Green values into practice every day. I founded CultureWood CIC, a social enterprise where we are passionate about nature connection, running forest school programmes for local schools and for the wider community, working with people of all ages. I lead a local community garden group at King George V, where we are literally digging in to protect our environment, and are creating a community and green space where we can learn, share, grow food, build resilience and improve the park for nature.

I'm standing because our ward needs a councillor who will fight just as hard to protect our green spaces, tackle the cost of living crisis, and ensure the council acts on its climate promises.

Your choice in this election is really clear, it’s either the Lib Dems again, or you can vote for me and the Green Party on Thursday 7th May and help change Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council!
