In Abdul's own words

Better Call Saud.

If you’re struggling with the council, your housing, or getting the support you deserve, you need someone who will listen and act.

Canning Town South isn’t just where I live. It’s home. Not just the streets and buildings, but the people. This ward is a family, and when something goes wrong, you should have someone to turn to.

I’ve spoken to parents fighting for EHC plans for their children.

I’ve listened to young professionals weighed down by rising rents and council tax.

I’ve heard from local business owners being squeezed while keeping our community alive.

As a local government officer, this is what I do every day. I know how councils work, where they fail, and how to challenge them. I help people cut through bureaucracy, be heard, and get results.

So when something’s not right, Better Call Saud.

I think the problem with politics is that too many politicians don’t reflect the lived experiences of the people they represent.

But I do.

Faced homelessness and uncertainty about where you’d stay next? That was me for two years.

Did everything right, got your degree, and still couldn’t get a job? That was me too.

Finally earning a decent salary, but still feeling crushed by the cost of living? I know that feeling.

These are lived experiences, and they’re why I will always stand up for others facing the same struggles.

I’ll work for cleaner streets, safer neighbourhoods, and real support for people of all ages.
