I’m a technology lecturer dedicated to helping young people build stable, fulfilling careers. As a local resident, I was moved to act after joining the campaign against cuts to our library services. While the mayor stayed silent and the cabinet made excuses, Green councillors stood up firmly for these vital community spaces. Labour has held power in our council for fifty years, yet they’ve failed to deliver. The changes they now propose only take us backwards. It’s time for something better - a fairer, more hopeful future for Newham. Vote Abdulazis, Alex and James for Canning Town South, and Areeq for mayor, on May 7th!
