Margaret Therse Gaffney
Labour candidate for Standish with Langtree
Born in Wigan, I have lived in Standish for over 27 years with my husband Mark. Our 4 children attended primary school in Standish and then a local high school and college. I worked as a solicitor before joining the teaching profession and currently work at a local college. I am an active member of my local church, St Marie’s. I am currently a LA Governor at a primary school in the borough and was a parent governor at my children’s primary school. Standish is a great place to live, and I want to use my experience as both a solicitor and a teacher to help people in Standish. I want to be a strong voice for Standish in the Town Hall working alongside Cllrs Debbie Parkinson and Terry Mugan.
