In Jessica's own words

Jessica has lived in Weeke for twelve years now and in Winchester for over twenty. Over those twenty years she has worked in local government, healthcare, and now in Higher Education in Winchester, where she is a lecturer on health and social care professional programmes.

She is passionate about supporting health and social care access for all, recognising the impact that local and national policy has had on the wellbeing of the community and workforce. Working in local GP practices she saw first hand how healthcare is more than simply the NHS, it is about housing, jobs, access to food, green spaces, and community. To this end she works to put the community and residents of Winchester at the centre of policy and decision making.
