In Seona's own words

Seòna Turtle grew up and still lives in Wokingham Without. She ran Sebastian's Girl Guides for 15 years and has served as a Wokingham Without Cllr for 25 years.

During her time as Chairman she improved and increased the outdoor facilities in Pinewood including: the installation of 2 popular play parks, a viewing platform over the pond with a picnic area nearby, regenerating and opening the orchard, and tarmacking the gravel the carpark. She successfully campaigned for a “refuge island” on Nine Mile Ride enabling safer pedestrian access into Pinewood.

As well as a Parish Councillor, Seòna is a trustee of Circle Hill and Walter Recreation ground, a member of Friends of Heathlake and Chairman of Pinewood Community Orchard.

As a long standing resident Seòna will use her vast experience and knowledge of the area to represent the needs of our community, and to ensure it remains a pleasant and safe place, in which to live, now and in the future.
