In Akiva's own words

I'm standing as someone outside the political bubble - a working dad of two young children who cares about the kind of place families actually have to live in day to day.

I’m not here to make big promises I can’t keep, and I’m not pretending this is a safe Conservative seat. But I do think residents deserve someone willing to listen properly and speak honestly about what’s going wrong; whether that’s anti-social behaviour, poor planning decisions, or feeling like local voices are ignored.

Labour has held this area for years, and Reform will offer protest. I’m offering something simpler: a fresh set of eyes, a willingness to challenge decisions that don’t make sense, and a focus on the everyday issues people deal with on their own streets.

Even where I can’t win, I can make sure your concerns are heard - and that’s worth doing properly.
