Alex Diner
Labour councillor for Bowes
Council: Enfield
Term ends: 2 May 2030
I have dedicated all my working life to public service. I am a housing campaigner, and my background is as a legal aid solicitor, as part of which I represented families from the Grenfell Tower fire. My family live across North Essex. And Harwich was where my grandfather first docked and stayed in the UK when he arrived as a child refugee on the Kindertransport in the 1930s. So this community is very special to me. After 14 long years this Tory government, supported by our local MP, has crashed the economy, driven up mortgages and broken our NHS. Voters across North Essex are now moving over to Labour. I will be the champion our community needs to ensure our voice is heard loud and clear in parliament.
