Conservative councillor for Bentley Heath & The Royds
Term started: 7 May 2026
John Graham’s top priorities: -Tough on HMOs - the only ones permitted should be legal, safe and not diminish the local community and neighbourhood balance -Saving our Greenbelt - John will campaign against any unsuitable development which compromises our green spaces and clogs up local infrastructure -Championing our local businesses - Labour are letting down our pubs and shops with a multitude of tax hikes. John supports the abolition of business rates, cutting red tape and scrapping the Carbon Tax to bring energy costs down -Cleaning up our area - since second black bins were taken away, there has been an increase in fly-tipping. John supports the local Conservatives plan to crackdown on flytippers by increasing the penalties and enforcement. Knowledge. Experience. Delivery.
