SAY NO! To a New Casino in the Heart of Wellingborough

FROM BANK TO BETTING? Wellingborough deserves better. Plans have been submitted to turn the former NatWest building at 40 Market Street into a new Adult Gaming Centre in the heart of Wellingborough Town Centre. With new branding and three large digital advertising screens facing Market Street, residents are asking: Is this really the future we want for one of Wellingborough’s most prominent town-centre buildings? We welcome investment and want to see vacant buildings brought back into use but the right development in the right place matters. Wellingborough Town Centre needs businesses, attractions and investment that bring people together, support the Town Centre Masterplan and create a vibrant future whilst preserving the character and identity of our Town. Our town deserves better than another gambling venue at the heart of Wellingborough. Sign the petition and show your support for a better future for Wellingborough town centre. Planning Applications: 26/02142 /FUL and 26/02141/ADV (North Northamptonshire Council Planning Portal).
