Councillor Dane Anderton represents Leigh West on Wigan Council and is Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Regeneration. A strong advocate for Leigh, Dane has campaigned for greater investment in the town, the regeneration of its town centre and neighbourhoods, better opportunities for local people and stronger support for businesses. He has also been closely involved in tackling anti-social behaviour, protecting green spaces, challenging inappropriate development and campaigning for tougher action on issues affecting local communities.
