Surgeries I know the lack of surgeries hasn’t stopped people contacting me and finding an answer quicker has been appreciated by most rather than wait for a surgery. One to one surgeries can always be arranged for constituents if a phone call is not enough. On a personal note I get great satisfaction from meeting locals, groups and organisations and trying my best to deal effectively with issues which have proved problematic for them. I haven’t always solved every problem, but what I always endeavor to do, is to get back and explain what has been done and give them a run-down on the outcome of the issue raised and any other helpful pointers. That, I believe, is very important, because people are generally very realistic about what can be achieved, but they do value feedback.
