Hello, I'm Edward Hill, your Devon County Councillor for Pinhoe & Mincinglake. I have lived and worked in a variety of roles throughout my career, including serving for 15 years in the Royal Marines, working as an LGV driver, running my own driving school, and qualifying with a First-Class Honours degree in Law. As your councillor, my priority is ensuring that local people have a strong voice at County Hall. I am passionate about improving road safety, protecting vulnerable residents, holding public bodies to account, and ensuring taxpayers receive value for money. Whether it's highways, education, planning, transport, safeguarding or other county council services, I believe residents deserve honest representation, clear communication and practical solutions. About the role
The responsibility of a councillor is to represent the people within a ward by making decisions on local seAs your Devon County Councillor, my role is to represent the interests of residents in Pinhoe & Mincinglake, challenge decisions where necessary, and work to improve the services provided by Devon County Council. I deal with issues including highways and road safety, education, social care, public transport, planning matters affecting the county, and environmental issues. I also work with residents, community groups and partner organisations to help resolve local problems and secure improvements for our area.
