Gayle Gander

Conservative councillor for Kenley

Council: Croydon

Term started: 7 May 2026

Conservative

I have lived in Kenley for the past nine years with my teenage son, Joe. I believe that Kenley is a beautiful and special place – I know it well as I regularly walk the family dog around Kenley’s green spaces and feel proud to live here. Like many of the people I speak to in Kenley, I am concerned about inappropriate planning and developments, with their resulting strain on the local infrastructure. In my job, I am Head of Marketing for a geodata company. I work closely with councils across the country to help them make better use of location data. If elected, I hope to make a positive change and support the local community, to ensure that Kenley’s green spaces and unique character is protected.
