Jack Lovejoy
Liberal Democrats councillor for Chichester North ED
Active on State
Council: West Sussex
Term ends: 2 May 2030
Jack Lovejoy was born in St Richard’s Hospital and has lived in Chichester ever since. He is a parish councillor in Boxgrove and lives with his parents, who operate a garden centre in Runcton. Jack works with children in the care system, preparing 16 to 17 year olds to progress to independence. Owing to a long term health condition, he is unable to drive so he has a keen interest in ensuring walking, cycling and buses are a viable alternative to cars. Jack does not perform constituent surgeries, please find him at your local parish council if you wish to bring something to his attention, or email him to set up a call, meeting or visit.

What Jack's actively working on locally
Boxgrove-Westhampnett Cycleway
Boxgrove and Westhampnett have two footpaths that are separated by a single field, there is currently no safe way to get between the villages on foot or bike. I want to change that.
Clean up Crockerhill
Crockerhill is a picturesque little hamlet in Boxgrove parish. Since 2021 the residents have had to put up with an antisocial garage owner who uses it for a dumping ground for broken down vehicles. Everyone seems to have forgotten Crockerhill, but I refuse to give up and I will end their nightmare, because this is completely unacceptable.
Safer Crossing at East Broyle
Anyone who lives in East Broyle knows that the St Paul's road is dangerous to cross, I am supporting a community highways scheme by Cllr Louise Pramas at the City Council to finally get a safe way for residents to cross from East Broyle to the Parklands Shops.
