What John's actively working on locally
Heavy vehicle and cafes planning at Riseholme Roundabout
A lorry park plan was submitted in Green Wedge land at Riseholme Roundabout. It was rejected by WLDC. It has gone to appeal, John spoke against it and we await the result of the appeal. At long last following numerous Fix my Streets and lobbying of LCC. In September The Green footways should be resurfaced. Then later the path on Orchard Way. We are awaiting a date for the footway on Deepdale which LCC say they will repair. Between a resident and John a large new holding tank has been placed at the Crescent, Deepdale East Street junction. We now hope it will alleviate the flooding problem and we will se what the rain does. Other projects for residents are ongoing.
