Kathryn McCann

Green Party councillor for Redlands

Active on State

Council: Reading

Green Party

Kathryn McCann has lived in Reading since 2006. She initially lived in Redlands, before moving just over the boundary into Church Ward. She works part time for a local family support charity and a social enterprise, where she also volunteers, including running a tree planting scheme. In her spare time, she enjoys connecting with nature in her own garden, at her allotment or while out walking. Kathryn says, “It has been a privilege to represent Redlands Ward since I was elected in 2022 and so rewarding to help people get sometimes very challenging issues resolved. I will keep working hard and standing up for Redlands.” In addition to year-round door knocking, Kathryn and fellow Green ward councillor Dave McElroy hold bi-monthly surgeries at venues around the ward. For detail of upcoming surgeries, follow Redlands Greens on Facebook or paste this URL into your browser: https://democracy.reading.gov.uk/mgUserInfo.aspx?UID=739
