Lorna Fielker

Lorna Fielker is a Ward Councillor for Swaythling on Southampton City Council and the Labour candidate for Mayor of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Combined Authority. She has a background in public service, community leadership and partnership working, with experience leading major regeneration, community engagement and service improvement programmes. Having grown up in a forces family and lived across different parts of the country and abroad, Lorna is passionate about strong communities, opportunity for all and ensuring local people have a real voice in decisions that affect them. Her priorities for Swaythling include safer and cleaner neighbourhoods, improving housing standards, supporting local businesses and protecting community facilities. She is also focused on helping residents access good jobs, tackling inequality and ensuring Southampton and the wider region benefit from growth and investment.
