Labour councillor for Woodside
Council: Haringey
Term ends: 2 May 2030
A Londoner born and bred, I’ve lived in Haringey for ten years. I am active in my local community, and I’m a governor at a local school. Working in the public and charity sectors most of my life, I have professional experience in health, housing and community engagement.I am passionate about fighting for equality and fairness for the most disadvantaged and for people experiencing discrimination. Haringey has been hit hard by government cuts and we must work to minimise the impact.I believe people should have a say in what happens in their area. We should build on the strengths of our communities and support them to contribute and make the changes they want to see. I will always champion local people’s participation in the decisions the council makes.
