Born and raised in the Wainfelin ,Tranch area and attended George Street Primary and Twmpath Secondary Modern schools. Worked in the Engineering sector and ran my own buisiness for over 20 years. Volunteered in the local community mainly in sport for over 30 years and for 23 years have been Chairman of local rugby club.
