I'm currently the borough councillor for Cheltenham's Leckhampton ward, and Mayor of Cheltenham for 2026-27. I'm also county councillor for Leckhampton & Warden Hill and parish councillor for Leckhampton Undercliff. I have previously served as the town's MP and MEP and have always taken a close interest in environmental issues, particularly the protection of Leckhampton's precious green spaces and setting us on a clear pathway to net zero and nature recovery. I've championed and won funding for a variety of local causes including a new zebra crossing on Church Road, the parish's acquisition of Lott Meadow and the community purchase of Daisybank, new renewable energy and community facilities at Burrow's Field and many more.
