Paul Lorber has lived in Brent since 1969—first in Willesden and then in Sudbury and Wembley. He was educated at Kilburn Comprehensive School and then Manchester University. He was first elected to Brent Council in 1982 and served for 32 consecutive years until 2014. He was re-elected as a Liberal Democrat Councillor for Sudbury Ward in May 2022. He has served as a School Governor since 1994 and he helps to run a Community Library in Barham Park as a full-time volunteer. Paul is passionate about local environmental issues and campaigns on them all year round.
