I've been the county councillor for Whaley Bridge in High Peak since 2020. Previously a Labour councillor and Labour MP for High Peak from 2017-2019, I have been independent since March 2025 and leader of the Independent Group on Derbyshire County Council since May 2025. I work with people from all parties and none to seek the best for local people, including on road safety, promoting cycling and walking, protecting our environment and supporting local businesses.
