Conservative councillor for Bury West

Active on State

Council: Bury

Term ends: 6 May 2027

Conservative

I am proud to serve as a Conservative Councillor for Bury West. I am committed to listening to residents, representing their concerns and working hard to make our local community a better place to live. My priorities are supporting local families, improving our neighbourhoods, keeping our streets safe and clean, and making sure residents’ voices are heard at Bury Council. I believe Bury’s Green Belt is one of the things that makes our borough special and must be protected for future generations. We need to make sure that development is appropriate, sustainable and in the right locations, rather than allowing unnecessary building on valuable green spaces. As a councillor for Bury West, I will listen to residents’ concerns, challenge inappropriate development and work to protect our countryside, open spaces and the character of our local communities. At the same time, I recognise that we need good-quality homes and responsible development, but this must be balanced with protecting the environment and ensuring that local infrastructure and services can cope.
