I am delighted to have been selected by our local party to fight this election here in South Shields. This is my home and I am standing up for what matters. People are telling me that what really matters are real jobs for themselves and their families, our hospital and many other public services being under threat and our schools having to charge to make ends meet. I hear so many times that voting doesn’t matter, that your vote here doesn’t count but every vote does make a difference if we stand together for the common good.
