Joined the SDP when it first formed in 1981. Later it was amalgamated to form the Liberal Democrats. Became a local Councillor in 2003 in Thatcham, and have been involved with local politics ever since. I volunteer for other organisations too, and believe our society runs on the time and effort put in by volunteers.
