Tony Durrant

Basingstoke & Deane Independents councillor for Bramley

Council: Basingstoke and Deane

Term started: 7 May 2026

Basingstoke & Deane Independents

I‘m proud to have served the community of Bramley Parish Council for ten years where I live. As Basingstoke expands, I am conscious of how difficult it gets to protect the integrity of our villages and small communities. It matters to have experience in dealing with such major issues. I am a retired business man and now have the time and desire to serve the wider Bramley Ward as a Borough Councillor. Political agendas get in the way of representing people openly and transparently. The Independents are not a lone voice as they represent the many voices of the community.
