Fireworks should not be banned from being sold to the general public (as a petition currently suggests). We think they should be available to buy for anyone over the age of 21.

Ban the sale and use of indoor fireworks

We call on the UK Government to ban the sale and use of indoor fireworks. Although classified as F1, they emit flames and sparks that can pose a serious fire risk in enclosed spaces. We believe a ban would help prevent avoidable fires and reduce pressure on fire and rescue services.
