Include more modern and diverse authors in the GCSE English curriculum

We call on the Government to scrap GCSE exams and replace them with fairer continuous assessments, coursework, and smaller tests. We think this would reduce stress, improve mental health, and better prepare students for future education.

Add Welsh, Irish, and Scottish Gaelic languages to English national curriculum

As additional options students can take in class, the English curriculum should feature Welsh, Scottish Gaelic, and/or Irish. Similar to how French and Spanish is commonly taught.
