In Jo's own words

Jo Newing worked as a Nurse at Barnsley Hospital. She has since worked with homeless and vulnerable people, and most recently with Barnsley CAMHs, supporting neurodivergent young people. She is an experienced councillor who has served Old Town for eight years. Jo is also a member of the Humanist Society and Greenpeace.
