In Sam's own words

I’m Sam Journet, local business owner, community campaigner and the bold voice Basildon needs. From being homeless at 13 to building the highest rated independent jewellery business in Essex and Kent, I know what it takes to fight, fix what’s broken and deliver real results.

I believe in plain speaking, strong action and standing up for the people, not the party machine. I’m running to give St. Martins Ward a strong minded councillor who will work for you, not developers, not political insiders.

Tired of the same old promises? So am I. It’s time for local politics that’s honest, accountable and gets things done.

My priorities:

- Cut waste, fix local services and make sure your money works for you.

- Tackle anti social behaviour and crime head-on. More visible policing, zero excuses.

- Support local shops, jobs and our high streets.

- Bring real transparency to the council, no more backroom deals.

If you want someone who’ll stand their ground and stand up for you, lend me your vote. Let’s take back control of Basildon, together!

Is this you?
