In Adam's own words

I’ve been jogging the streets of Shortlands for years – long before I decided to stand for election. You might know me from walking Kosmo on Queensmead Rec (he's the one who never goes anywhere without his ball thrower). I'm also the Site Secretary at Shortlands Allotment – where I’ve somehow managed to grow beetroot, sweet potato and bell peppers.

I was born and raised in East Dulwich, and I’ve called Shortlands home since 2020. I’m a Chartered Management Accountant and spent four years living and working in Belgium.

For the last 10 years I’ve been working as a finance director at one of the world’s leading sustainability and climate advisory firms, so I understand how to deliver long-term value and, most importantly, make money work for residents — not just contractors.

I know this isn't where the Greens usually win. But I believe residents here want a candidate who tells the truth, brings fresh ideas, and works hard for the area — not someone expecting an easy ride.

Bromley Council is failing on the basics – from potholes to speeding on roads like Glassmill Lane. Too often services are cut or outsourced, and residents end up paying more for less. We need a council that actually invests in our area and plans properly for the future – from our parks to our high streets – not continued decline.

On planning, there are proposals to build 2,000 homes on Hayes Farm. Our current councillors won’t oppose it directly – I will. We need genuinely affordable homes, but built in the right places, not on valuable green space.

I support the Green Party because protecting our local businesses, community and environment isn’t extreme – it’s common sense.

During this election campaign I'll be running every street in this ward, listening to residents. If you see me, stop me for a chat – I’d love to meet you.
