In Ed's own words

I'm standing for election in Handsworth because I'm fed up with the lack of action on the issues here.

Fly tipping and waste cover our streets. Our roads are covered in potholes. HMOs and crowded houses are becoming more and more common, with no thought of how it impacts our diverse community.

Handsworth has been left behind for years. I will fight for better transport, better facilities like reopening our swimming pool, longer opening hours for our library, more support for marginalised communities, action on speeding and antisocial behaviour and challenging the discriminatory Stop & Search policy.

I'm a mental health nurse by training, and I've dedicated my life to helping others, challenging the system and speaking up for people that get left behind.
