Vicky Anderson is the Liberal Democrat candidate for Blaydon and Consett. She was elected as a local Liberal Democrat Councillor in Gateshead for Dunston Hill and Whickham East in May 2019, winning against Labour. Local to the North East, Vicky is passionate about the region where she grew up and the wealth of talent and ambition it has to offer. Vicky also believes strongly in creating a fair, open and accepting society for all, and is a passionate advocate and campaigner for equality, LGBTQ+ and women’s rights.
