In Carol's own words

I am one of the three founder members of Radcliffe First. For many years I have been involved with Bury Folk Keep it Green; campaigning to protect land around Elton Reservoir and the canal from a proposed 3,500 home development. I am an active member of local organisations including Radcliffe Litter Pickers, Little Britain Anglers, Radcliffe Rotary, and Dumers Lane Community Centre.

I helped to start Radcliffe First due to my sheer frustration with the disregard shown by Bury MBC towards Radcliffe. I felt Radcliffe was always missing out on opportunities and it seemed Bury Council were intent on turning Radcliffe into another suburb of Bury. Over the years I have watched Radcliffe become a shadow of the vibrant town it once was. Voting for me means I can continue the hard work Radcliffe First has already started in order to create a better Radcliffe for us all.
