In Tom's own words

Tom works for a housing association and is a union representative. He is deeply involved in the local community, sitting on the Mitcham Common conservator's and a local residents association.

He grew up near Wrythe green, was born in St.helier, and now lives in New Mill Quarter with his wife and two cats, Cherry and Mango. He attended a local school where he received speech and language support. He is standing for council because he wants to give back to the community that "has given him so many opportunities".
