“Sean has lived in Barnet since he was a child. He lives in East Barnet and has stood in the ward twice before. A former Barnet Councillor he has also stood for Chipping Barnet for Parliament three times in late 90s and early 2000s ”

“He works as head of a Government approved redress organisation, The Property Redress Scheme, resolving complaints made against letting and estate agents. ”

“His primary focus for the area is to ensure that the development of the Victoria Quarter proposed for the old gas works site is done in a sensitive, sustainable and environmentally friendly way. ”

““The plans put forward before were unacceptable with far too many dwellings and no solution for the impact it will have on the local area. Yes we need more homes and affordable one at that however the need is for family homes not densely packed high rise flats with no consideration for quality of life””

“He wants better transport local links especially since hundreds of residents lost access to their bus route when the 384 was rerouted. “I will lobby for a new bus route to restore the access lost, which would connect those most in need to local shops and New Barnet station. It could also serve the new development if we can get a sensible scheme built.””
