I’m standing because Clacton deserves a representative who answers to the people, not to a political party. My commitment is simple: to listen, be honest, and always put our community first. For too long, Clacton has been left behind. It’s time to restore pride in our town, support local families, and create opportunities for everyone. Revitalising Our Roads and High Streets Our roads and high streets have been neglected for too long. We deserve cleaner, safer, and more attractive streets that people are proud to visit. My priorities are to: • Improve our roads and public spaces. • Create cleaner, safer, more welcoming streets. • Support independent businesses and attract new investment. • Restore confidence in Clacton’s town centre and increase footfall. A thriving high street benefits everyone. Making Life More Affordable for Local Families Local people should come first. I’ll work with local shops, restaurants, attractions, and hospitality businesses to create exclusive discounts and offers for Clacton residents, helping families enjoy more while supporting local businesses throughout the year. This will: • Help families with the rising cost of living. • Reward local people for shopping locally. • Increase year-round trade for local businesses. • Strengthen our local economy. Creating More Local Jobs Too many people, especially young people, struggle to find good local jobs. I’ll work with businesses, investors, and education providers to attract investment, support entrepreneurs, and create more employment opportunities so people can build their future here in Clacton. These are just three of my priorities, but my promise is simple: I will always put Clacton first. I will listen, work hard, and be an independent voice that answers only to the people of the community. Together, we can build a stronger future for our town.
