In Sacha's own words

Sacha Takyi-Berko is a local activist for better housing and more support for children, especially children with special educational needs. She has worked with local special educational charities and support providers like Berridge Road Resource Centre and other tutoring programs to reach our most vulnerable and disenfranchised children.

As a parent of a disabled and special needs young person, Sacha is well aware of the pressures faced by parents and families – and of the failures of our services. She is passionate about holding local authorities to account on these, as well as changing the wider system that is failing us.

She is a long standing activist for social justice and intends to champion safe homes, adaptions and housing security. All residents deserve to be treated with dignity – not as case numbers.
