Conservative candidate for Woodlands
“The last year has been tough. Having contracted Covid-19, along with my wife, last year I know from personal experience what a nasty disease it is. The return to normality has not, and will not, be quick. However we move a step closer to that normality with the return of the local elections.”
“I have represented you at the Council House for the last five years along with Cllr Julia Lepoidevin and Cllr Peter Male. I am standing for re-election because it has been an honour and a privilege to represent Woodlands Ward as your Councillor. I have always worked hard on behalf of the community on the issues that mattered, large or small.”
“I’ve helped residents with missed bin collections, got pot holes repaired, supported and organised litter picks and the Speedwatch initiative. At the time of writing we are also very close to a new defibrillator coming on stream in Sutherland Avenue. There have been bigger campaigns too like the fight to secure the return of education at the site of the Woodlands Academy and to secure our public spaces against travellers. I’ve also worked with the Mayor of the West Midlands Mayor Andy Street to save the greenbelt.”
“I have a strong record of action and I promise much more.”
“My determination to work hard for the people of Woodlands Ward has not diminished, if anything it burns brighter than it did five years ago. So once again I’m asking for your support so I can continue to be accessible and campaign for what matters to you.”
