In Jackie's own words

I have lived in Dewsbury South all my life. I care about our area and want to see it flourish. I want to make sure Dewsbury South gets its fair share of funding to address our needs. I want to support those people in the ward that have suffered because of the Pandemic. I want to see the fabric of the ward improved by getting our roads repaired, maintaining our parks, addressing fly tipping and tackling anti-social behaviour. I want to see investment in facilities for children and young people, so they can play safely and join in organised youth activities. I want to support additional facilities for the elederly and vulnerable, so they are able to enjoy a better quality of life.
