In Ian's own words

My message is simple – the current government is not working in your best interest. Our NHS is in peril, ambulances take far too long to reach emergency cases, police forces have been so budget-starved that they have had to rely on known sex offenders within their ranks. This is just the start of the list of problems with the current government.

Unfortunately the system at the moment doesn’t work. Our democracy is broken, because it almost always boils down to a choice between Conservative and Labour, both of which have very similar manifestos and both of which are currently committed to keeping this broken system. I firmly value the idea of democratic representation. That means that I want your votes to actually determine the amount of power a party has.
