In Ryan's own words

I have been a Green Party member since 2010 and have lived in Ealing from 2004.

I work in the charity sector ensuring some of the most vulnerable people have a safe place to live with dignity and have a voice in their lives. I have volunteered as a trustee supporting older people in Ealing and as a volunteer providing food to those facing food poverty across London.

I joined the Green Party as it is the only party looking at a better future for our children, one that is positive and inclusive.

I feel my strong interest in politics, degrees in political science and public administration, and belief in ethical politics, making decisions to serve Ealing’s public interest, make me an ideal candidate to represent you.

I look forward to working to:

ensure appropriate housing is built for our communities;

fight for more home insulation and renewable energy;

support the police to address crime and anti-social behaviour;

support plans for safer walking and cycling in Ealing;

improve and protect our public spaces, parks and green spaces;

develop a strategy for public toilet provision across Ealing, as part of public health responsibilities;

take action against social isolation and digital exclusion to marginal groups; and

support charities and community groups delivering programmes for older people and those needing additional support.

I am honoured to be standing in this year’s election.
