In Katrin's own words

I live in Charvil with my husband and two young children and love the strong community and surrounding countryside.

I've represented Thames Ward since May 2024 and also serve as a Charvil Parish Councillor. After a decade working in the private sector focused on climate finance, I am now a full-time councillor and parent.

I'm passionate about creating a sustainable future, and have been Wokingham's Executive member for Environment and Climate Emergency since March 2025.

My key local priorities are:

- protecting the environment- both local nature and reducing greenhouse gas emissions;

- improving road safety for all users, especially walkers and cyclists;

- trying to maximise the benefit to the local community of any future development - increasing the proportion of affordable homes and pushing for future-proof design that integrates with our communities.
