In Michael's own words

Michael is an experienced and qualified insurance professional of over 40 years and who currently works in Henley-on-Thames for a well known insurance broker. He is an experienced Councillor on Wokingham Borough Council. Since 2019 he has been the Councillor for Sonning & Warren.

He campaigns on local issues and helping local residents, such as working for safer roads by managing traffic flow and reducing speeding/dangerous driving. Also, protecting the Green Belt and the environment, such as the pollution of the River Thames. By speaking out and making representations against inappropriate development.

It will be great honour for Michael to be elected as one of the Councillors for the new Thames Ward on Wokingham Borough Council. If so, he will do his best to represent and action your views and concerns. Also, to keep residents who raise issues fully updated.

He was born in Hampshire, but has lived most of his life in Earley where he was educated locally at Earley St Peter’s Primary School and then Maiden Erlegh Secondary School. In his spare time he is interested in football, cricket, snooker, and keen on gardening, drawing and painting.
