In Joseph's own words

A Labour party member since the early 1980s, Joe O’Halloran is a writer/consultant with over 30 years of experience as a journalist in the IT, broadcasting, CGI, telecoms, design sectors and as a consultant in marketing as well as a safety steward at Brighton & Hove Albion.

He has been a resident of Shoreham-by-Sea since 2007. Politically, Joe is driven by a desire to strive for equality and fairness in our community.

Equality of opportunity and fairness in the delivery of services, especially to those who need them most; equality and fairness in access to the advanced IT and communications services that our working and home lives increasingly depend on; equality and fairness in people’s ability to obtain essential utilities such as electricity and gas; equality and fairness in the terms of affordable housing. As councillor, Joe would strive to put these issues foremost and serve better the people of Shoreham.
