“Hi everyone! I'm Steve Humby, and I'm standing as your Reform UK candidate for West End South on Eastleigh Borough Council and Hampshire County Council at the May 7th local elections.”

“I live in Hamble and have proudly called this corner of Hampshire home for 38 years. You might know me from my time serving the community — I spent 31 years as a Retained Firefighter and 8 years as a Wholetime Firefighter with Hampshire & IOW Fire and Rescue Service. I also served as a Special Constable based at Bitterne and Park Gate, and as an Ambulance Co-Responder. Public service has always been at the heart of who I am.”

“So what's brought me to politics? Honestly — frustration. A recent experience dealing with my Parish Council opened my eyes to just how painful and unnecessarily bureaucratic local government can be. If it felt that way to me, I can only imagine how it feels for other ordinary residents trying to get things done. That has to change.”
